• After use rinse your grater in warm water to remove food particles stuck on the back of the grater.
• To remove particles on the front of the grater soak the tool in warm water and use a brush in the same direction as the teeth to avoid cutting your cleaning brush.
• Store with the blade covered when not in use. We recommend you always clean this product by hand to prolong its lifespan.
• After cleaning leave to dry on draining board.

Microplane Brand Information

• The US made Microplane range of graters are known throughout the world by professional chefs and home cooks alike for being a reliable and durable tool for grating foods without causing damage by ripping or tearing.
• Brothers Richard & Jeff Grace of Arkansas, USA, started making Microplane woodworking tools in 1990, using a photo-etching purpose to create a rasp with fine edges by dissolving holes with chemicals – this created a tool that neatly slices instead of tearing or shredding.
• In 1994, the woodwork tool became a kitchen utensil almost by accident – Lorraine Lee of Ottawa, Canada, was so fed up with her zester that she started using a Microplane tool that her husband Leonard had brought from their hardware store.
  
• They were so impressed with the results that they added its uses in the kitchen to their catalogue, and since then kitchens across the world have been giving Microplane a home in their kitchens.

• Orders can be collected from our store in Overton, Hampshire RG25 3EB on any day (Saturday and Sunday or evenings by arrangement). The details of the collection address will be on your invoice which is emailed to you at the time of placing your order.

• If your delivery package weighs more than 5 Kg then we will contact you prior to despatch to confirm the total costs.

International Delivery

Europe: (5-7 Working Days)

• £7.50 - £20.00 to Central Europe, Depending on the items ordered which will be calculated at the checkout.
  

Rest of the World: (5-10 working days)

• £50 to all other destinations.

Please note that weight and size restrictions apply to International delivery. If your package exceeds the weight (5Kg) or size (30cm x 30cm x30cm) we will contact you prior to despatch to agree any additional delivery costs.

Returns

You can be assured that if for any reason you find the goods are unsuitable you may return them to us within 30 days for either a full refund of the cost of the goods or exchange.

If the goods are damaged or defective when you receive them we will arrange for them to be returned to us and either replace them at our cost or provide a full refund including the original delivery charges as long as you notify us within 48hr of receiving the goods. You then have up to 30 days to return them to us.
